    Thanks mate!
The whining sound from the fan is almost gone in 2d mode! :)
The temp is about 80C (at 55% fan speed) in furmark with a slight overclock, Core:800mhz Shader 1600mhz and Memory 1900mhz. I´ll hold any further over clocking til i´ve got the cooler from Arctic.

BetA13.. are you doing clocks aswell?
atm im using AB to detect 3D app and both change the clock and increase the volts..then when the app closes it changes back to standard clocks and volts (via profiles and RSST)..

wondering if i can have the higher volts set only during P0 (Voltage Entry #3 maybe??)..but have the default lower volts during the other performance states

    my oc.. 1600 shader.. 1.050v.. 2000 mem..

    :3eyes:

i was gonna post my bios...but its saying my 43.7KB rar.txt file is 10.8KB too large when the size for txt files is 172.7KB :bang::bang::bang:

    i dont understand it..
    What exactly do u want?
just post ur bios @ media fire...
    i will download it there..

so? u want higher voltage in 3d mode ?
    and an oc?

please explain better for me ;)

yes in P00 profile i want 1600 shader/core and 2000 mem..but i also want voltage increased only in P00 Profile.. im not sure if it can be done or not..

if i had hold of the program what id do is..goto the voltage settings..set voltage entry #3 to my oc of 1050mv. next goto the Performance Profile Settings and set P00 Profile drop down to Voltage Entry #3..then set the numbers next to the profile for the shader and mem of 1600 and 2000 (from 1215 and 1674)..leave the other profiles default..

hehe, lol. i know how this Tool here works, in and out ;)
If not, i wouldnt be doing a Thread like that..

And yes it is almost Possible what u are asking ;) But u do know that P00 and P03 Mode is Bound in the ram Clocks and Voltage in BIOS..
But u could try Nvidia Inspector or afterburner to try to make an Profile...

I will do it right away..just one question, is this ur Original BIOS that u uploaded? Taken from GPU-Z tool?

    Greetz Beta

    EDIT:

    Here we go..

FIrst off... Ram Clocks are bound together in P00 and P03 Profiles..So u will have 4000 Mhz in both modes..2d Idle will be normal low as before..But u could use Nvidia Inspector to make a Profile i guess..
Theres no way u can have different Ram clocks in p00 and p03 mode....

The Rest i did as u wanted it to..SHader is @ 1600 Mhz ( GPU = 800 Mhz ) @ P00 With 1.050 Voltage setting..Voltage also is in P03 Mode the same...because it has to..its not changeable...U cant make different voltages in P00 and P03 Mode...(maybe afterburner or Nvidia Inspector can help u out there)

I have also upped the Max Voltage to 1.100 Volt for a little Headroom if the 1.050 Volt arent stable enough ;)

I hope u enjoy ur new Bios...And keep the Card Coool.....

    Heres the Bios:

    Greetings Beta..
    Feedbacks are always welcome ;)

wasnt implying you didnt know how to use it...just what i would have done myself..

    thanks heaps for that BetA...

but bugga..P0 and P3 having linked voltage defeats the purpose..i use 2 monitors so P3 is the lowest level..i was hoping P0 and P3 where seperate :(

i will have to continue to change the voltage with AB

Mybe it will be changeable in the Future but right now theres no way i can change them sepperatly..At least not with this tool..Or its Within the Hardware and cant be done..In Nibitor it wont even let me change anything..Thats why i use The Fermi Bios Editor..

I still hope it helps u out and u have what u want..But as u said u can use Afterburner for the Rest of it....

Can you allow 30% fan at minimum and raise the voltage limit for me please?

    Much appreciated...

Hi BetA13 is it possible for you to change the default 3d voltage of my friends GTX480 card to 1.00v it is currently set at 1.25 i think.By the way he has tested and is fully stable at that voltage.
    Thanks.

    here is the bios

slightly offtopic but I'm a bit curious why the vendorID in gainward cards are shown as CardExpert Technology instead of just Gainward....

    @BetA13

Looking @ those screens i guess there is no way in Orbmu2k's tool to change the RAM latencies, like in Nibitor ?

    @ theonlybabyface

Here you go, i raised the max Voltage restriction to 1.150, i hope its enough for you and i set 30% min. fan speed..

    @ kens30

Here is it, i set the 3D Voltage to 1.000 VOlt and gave u a little Headroom in the MAx allowed Voltage to 1.250....

I do hope its stable for ur Friend....

Thanks BetA13 if it is'nt stable i can always flash back the original bios by the way if it is easy for you can you modify th 1.0v as you did and change 3d clocks to 726 core and 1900 mem thanks.

    EDIT:

nevermind i did it myself using nibitor clocks + voltage

@Beta, oh no my post was not based on one of your posts :) I have always had gainward cards, and as a vendorID i always see CardExpert instead of Gainward, and I was just wondering what's the reason behind it.

Maybe you know, since you do a lot of bios-stuff ;)

    Hi BetA13

could you change 3d mode clocks of my gtx460 bios to Core: 775 Mhz - Shaders: 1550 MHz - Memory: 1900MHz without changing the voltage.

    thank you .
