I agree, I will make flashing the bios the last thing really, I've only ever flashed a gfx card bios for fun in the past, you'd like to think in reality you should never really need to!

Yeah, I've just flashed my BIOS with 30% fan speed after BetaA13 modified it and I'm pleased. I still think that it's a driver problem and I'll keep flashing BIOS again as a last resort.

Burebista... glad you got it sorted mate and good people like Cure 72 & Beta13 where able to help I did test on single card for you all day and found no problems at all but then reading Cure 72 post on bios I checked mine and found that i was okay as im running bios 70.04.0f and it works flawlessly, good cooling and very little fan noise - not bugged at all... in fact I cant even here the fans until they hit 75%+ and that only happens on benchmarking not gaming.

Now sit back and enjoy your 460GLH ;)

Im sure these cards sell in the USA...

I think Gainward have been in the GPU market since 1984 and they are a very respected brand indeed. This is my 1st time with the Gainward product and im very happy, I was looking for the Giga's with those twin fans but they where not available and I really wanted them... But reading review after review I opted for the GLH cards and what can I say Im very happy.

All the 460 cards are very good and its just up to Nvidia to get good drivers out to support the 460 product and unleash performance :)

    I checked it myself. Version of the one-same - 70.04.13.00.01. And date.Frequency ones, the same - 800 \ 1600 \ 2000.
    And that bug-same - 2D = artifacts \ BSOD.
    Rollback

Hi i've been posting on the official nvidia forums about this.

I updated my palit gtx460 with their new bios update. It did reduce memory clock to 1900 for me and has also made no difference to the desktop corruption kernal crashing bug with the .63 drivers.

Im getting pretty annoyed with this now, SORT IT OUT GAINWARD/PALIT

Thanks for posting that. The .exe in the .zip just reports my bios doesnt need updating so im assuming its the same one i downloaded from here: http://www.palit.biz/main/faq_show.php?pc_cate=vga&id=161 earlier. It didnt help me with my 1GB card as i still get the glitch.

At least we know they're working on it now.

LOOL! It looks like I'm the only one with ram clock increased from 900 to 950. :funny:
But what GS GLH do I have then? :3eyes:
Anyway, psychedelic colors are here even with new BIOS.
But for now I'm staying with it because I have a bigger VRAM frequency. :D

The differences probably should be. Not in vain because they replaced the bios on the site. That's just no sense from this no.:bang:

I'm waiting for WHQL driver or a new BIOS. For now I'm unlucky with 260.63 beta and latest BIOS. :(
