I just got my G500 and i have noticed tht, when the scroll wheel is in free mode and i start using my mouse i can feel a slight thud of the wheel moving (almost like a loose part). when the scroll wheel is locked, the problem occurs but very very slightly. So, is this the way the mouse is ?
When the wheel is in free mode you should not notice anything. Looks like a bad free/locked mechanic. Talk to Logitech support for an "in advance replacement".
Thud in a sense, i can feel the wheel shaking left and right on my hand when movin the mouse under normal circumstances.... Its not rock solid like in earlier G5 or any other mouse i ever used.... Are you sure u guyz can't feel the scroll wheel moving left&right when u use the mouse.... coz i just searched google and i got few ppls having similar problems as well, where many have responded positive and all G500 having issues. http://www.google.co.in/search?hl=e...itech+G500+rattle&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai= http://www.overclock.net/computer-peripherals/777405-logitech-g500-rattling.html
Im sure. the wheel does move left and right as it has to buttons for scrolling left and right but it should not be so lose to the point where its wobbling about when you move the mouse.
Well please, describe exactly when it wobbles. If I enable hyperscroll and shake the mouse repeatedly, nothing wobbles whatsoever.
