Not sure tbh, I don't check Vantage just the games I keep installed. More interested in my Cinemark performance and audio apps, gaming is just a pastime :)

Stepped back to the 259.31's and everything is fine again @ stock clocks. 259.31 did bring improvements with the recent L4d2 update and in Bc2/Moh beta/etc, and 259.32 was the same fps (more or less) for anything I'm playing atm so staying here for now.

OK, now just have to wait for a new version, maybe WHQL.

this is better than 258.89 for Mafia 2 , 460gt cards. thx nvidia

edit: only bad thing i saw at this driver is , it causes more heat on gpu.

max temps i saw at mafia 2 :

    258.89 > 61C
    259.32 > 67C

No OC at gpu. And nothing changed at pc instead drivers.

Thats strange, so the new driver will strain your GFX Card more, maybe
something in Nvidia Control Panel is difference, or your Fan is Running slower
    with this new driver.

    But still 67c is nice, if i run FurMark 10 a 15 min my 2 Geforce GTX 460 1GB
    will run:

    Card 1: 78c Max.
    Card 2: 70c Max.

So 67c is very good temp.

I also saw its causing more heat, Mafia 2 here, too.

    GPU idle = 37C (fan speed 50%)

    GPU load = 69C (fan speed 80%)

    20mins of Kombustor.

I have very good airflow in my case though.

Yes very good airflow, **** 69c for a Geforce GTX 480 is very nice.

UPDATE: i also have used MSI Kombuster in Stability test and my 2x
Geforce GTX 460 1GB will not go higher then:

    Card 1: 60c
    Card 2: 37c

So try FurMark and you see that your GPU temp will go much higher,
MSI Kombuster is not a good program to see how hot your GPU gets Max at
    full load.

    FurMark v1.8.2

These drivers fixed TF2 microstutter for me that 258.96 had.

Did some benches and they were pretty much the same in performance. Mafia II demo bench didn't do any better. Lost Planet 2 bench dropped about 4 FPS avg on A and B.

Im having a little problem with this driver. The AA is not working on Battlefield BC2. I've already tried many settings but nothing worked at all :(

Is anybody here having the same issues?

Look what I got when DLing latest driver 258.xx from the Nvidia site!

I find that a bit strange with the site having a 'us.' address.

Well... Here we are on Saturday 8/28/10 and for some reason, Nvidia has not released any new drivers. Based on some forum chatter; I was hopeful that we would see a new WHQL driver set. I'll just have to continue to be patient.

They released the 259.47 WHQL over Windows-Update.
And they've done it good :D

I don't believe that one bit sorry.

Seen far too many of these gpu's running in different system configurations and they simply don't run that temperature at idle. :3eyes:

Maybe he has a custom fan profile and the default fan speed for idle is less than 50%?

My Cards idel: 41c and 33c with 55% fanspeed.

    Room temp is 20.2C

    http://img715.imageshack.us/i/tempwv.jpg/

    UPDATE

And Cards Load: 85c and 69c with 100% and 90% fanspeed.

Is a 16c temp difference OK or not?

Whats also strange is that 1 GPU is always running at 1.0250v and 1GPU is
always running at 0.9370v, they are the same GFX Card, i think maybe this
is the reason why 1 is much hotter then the other.

Going to look if i can lower the Volt of 1 of my cards.
