    Well after spending the last couple days off work in the fetal position crying over the comments made about my last picture post, i figured id stop being a lazy prick, and pulled the dust covers out for a clean.

    illdrag0n, well done :). I really wanted to buy this case: Centurion you have. But in the end it was over my budget. Nice rig you have there.

    @cole2109, superb cable management. :thumbup:

    I hope a test bench also counts as a "case".

    @solidbladez, Looks fricken sick, and it counts as a case if you want it to I guess? For a second I looked at the pictures and I was like, whoa, that things got atomized water running along the bottom, and then I noticed it was the table top. Looks great though man.

    Hmmmm... maybe one day. :)

    Thanks man. The bench was like $53 including shipping on Newegg. I also had to put my pump on top of a piece of cloth after I took the pictures. It was causing the table to hum. :bang:

    Also the the rig in my sig now belongs to my parents (temporarily) since I sold their E8400 for a nice price. Going to move them to 1156 in the next few weeks.

    Bought a new 120mm side panel fan. These Cooler Master Excaliber fans came out not too long ago but I finally picked it up because my "silent" fans werent really good enough to keep the GTX470 cool when overclocked.
    I wanted something with really HIGH CFM pointed at the GTX470, and this sure provides it. 80CFM, 2000RPM, at 30DBA is the real deal here. I've heard louder fans before that had much less CFM. The cable is sleeved and the actual fan blade is removable like the Enermax ones I have. Comes with rubber screws, rubber washers, metal screws, and the usual molex adapter.
    Just by adding this side panel fan as an intake on the bottom center of my side panel dropped my GTX470 idle temps a few degrees at 40% default auto fan speed. Im sure on load it will help also, but will have to test that out later.
    [IMG]

    **after a few hours, I realize that this fan is pretty loud and is the loudest 120mm in the case, but not louder than the GTX470 at 80%. I am thinking of testing out its insane airflow by strapping it to the GTX470 and doing some benchies :nerd:

    ***confirmed, it works on the GTX470 with the fan tied to the heatpipes with a twist tie! Overclocked though, there doesnt seem to be much helping it, but it is about 5*C lower at 800/1600/1000 @1.087. Testing a loop of Unigine bench at those high speeds, it quickly hit the typical 90's. Stock clocks, GPU fan at 40%, and I am currently sitting at 71*C with Unigine. Not bad? :)
    Its still frickin loud, but not as loud as the GTX470 at 80% fan speed and its cooler. Now I just have to rearrange my side panel fan as an exhaust or else my CPU will heat up more.

    *I hope that made any sense, pics coming and more tests tomorrow.

    Got some nice wear on that G5 I see. I've been all the way through the MX5xx series and then the G5v1 and v2 and now the G500, never really got my mouse that worn; I guess it's how I grip it.

    I like the design of the Galaxy fan/radiator shroud.
