^ you're comparing a 512mb card to a 1024mb card and not telling us the image settings.

Buy whatever you feel like. It's your thread.

The 5670 is a notch slower than my Radeon HD 4850 but for what the OP is asking for the Sapphire card is great for what he needs.

    I say go for it.

Does Sapphire make bet ATi cards?Deltatux have you used both HD5670 and HD4850 so you are saying it to be just a notch slower?Do Sapphire cards overclock real good, I mean better than MSI Or HIS?

I believe that Sapphire is a very good company, though I don't know about OCability but that's just me:)

Just for reference, I was running an 8800GT OC on an AMD dual core @ 2.2Ghz (socket 939) with 2GB Ram (DDR400) and a single HDD on a generic 300W power supply for about 2 years. Never had any stability issues.

So is sapphire real good and what about it;s OCability? And deltatux, have you been seeing/using both cards so that you know that 5670 is a notch slower than your HD4850?

P.S Does ATi get a lesser performance hit by the implication of AA as compared to Nvidia?

No I haven't used it personally but have tried the Radeon HD 4670. The 5670 is about the same as Radeon HD 4770.

At 1280 x 720, a 4670 would be enough for most games except stuff like crysis and metro 2033. The 5670 is not a bad card but its overpriced imo, 4850 is a better card but I would'nt recommend using it on a generic 400W.

I didn't say they are the same, i said they are about the same. The better comparison is that the Radeon HD 5670's performance is neck and neck to the GeForce 9800GT.

Sapphire is one of the best card manufacturer that makes ATi cards. Highly recommended along XFX and HIS. It is also the largest ATi card manufacturer.

And I presume their cards also overclocks real well?Does OCability depend from card to card?Does ATi get a lesser performance hit by the implication of AA as compared to Nvidia?

Frankly speaking, I can get either of the two, I mean 9800Gt or HD5670. I dont upgrade on regular basis, plz tell me which one is better? And are you guys sure that the overclocked HD5670 would have a non-noticeable difference with the HD4770/HD4850/GTS250/HD5750 once overclocked?
