wich one to Buy....can i manualy add vrm and ram cooler?

    hy there...

i asked in a different thread before but just got an answer that i didnt asked about and while nobody says something i just make a Thread about it..

did you guys noticed that no gtx 460 comes with ram cooling?
    And theres my Problem...:puke2:

i want to upgrade my 9800gtx, so i think an gtx 460 is an great choice..
so, im looking for the Best (quality and OC) gtx 460 1gb thats out there..and please dont tell me you dont need ram cooling, that is not my question ;)
i want Ram cooling cause i wanna OC the heck out of it..
i need VRM Cooling also...i first thought the MSI Cyclone is the best deal..i still want it but it dont have Ram cooling and no VRM cooling..:wanker:

now my Question. How hot does the VRM and Rams Get when OCéd in Furmark? Hopefully someone knows..
and my most important question, can i manualy upgrade ram and VRM cooling..is there enough space under the cooler?

or is there a card out there that has what i want?

anyway, THX for listening, greetz Beta..:)

well at 4ghz its around 128gb/s, maybe you could squeeze few gb/s more but i doubt it..256bit bus is the limiting factor here:nerd:

~130gb/s should be ok, even with 8xaa in most games.. maybe a bit short at 1920x1200 reso, but for anything lower yea its enough. Ok except metro2033 you wont be able to use aa with dof and dx11 at the same time, its just to much for this gpu..

ok...first , i dont think that gainward is the best...and i do not want gainward..
still i like MSI cause MSI afterburner and the chance to Volt mod a lil...and msi does have superior quality i think...
what is it calles? military class components or something ölike this..i like that cause i dont want these queck noises when running futuremark etc etc..you know what i mean hehe..

    thx TheHunter for answering..i saw gtx460 with 138gb/s bandwith..impressive.

still i wanna know if i can manually can update ram and vrm cooling?
and how hot does this parts get?

@aduh my question was wich one has vrm cooling and ram cooling, but you just say gainward is the best, you dont say why or anything else that states what youre saying...totally useless post btw...

    waiting for more...:)

OK I explain why Gainward is the best:

Gainward Grand-Prix Heat-Pipes Hybrid Cooler, was designed in 6 mm copper-water heat-pipes on a copper base conducting heats away from GPU at highest efficiency, then dissipating onto aluminum heatsinks, which are forced ventilated with Great 8 cm double-ball-bearings Fan (GR8) Achieve highest cooling performance at much lower temperatures under power saving mode and full load with much quieter operation noises than reference GTX 460. Do not waste a GOOD design without overclocking it. Gainward Great (GR8) fan design has deployed a safety net for every GeForce GTX 460. Have fun tweaking it.

    http://www.fudzilla.com/reviews/reviews/gainwards-gtx-460-golden-sample-goes-like-hell-previewed

p.s. I hope that you know that MSI doesn't have a cooling on a Memory chips ?
also mini-HDMI port without adapter included - good luck with that ...

    so?
i know that theres no memory cooling , thats whats the thread is about......
and that stuff you said is just taken from fudzilla...lol..

anyway, gainward has no memory cooling too..you will see when the cooler is taken off, just search a picture..

still, can i or can i not manualy add mem and vrm cooling??

but still thx for your post, even i read the review this morning..

    greetz Beta

btw i dont care about the adapter, i allready have one ;)

    ok and what about that
You know that with MSI Cyclone cooling all heat will stay inside ?
Im not sure that it is the best idea. Another thing is dirt - I dont want to see how this card will be looking after 1 year of using. Good luck with cleaning ...

    Another thing about cooling:
    1. Gainward:

    2. MSI:

    see differences ?

could it be that you are an gainward fanboy? i dont need any fanboyísm. i need answers and tips for my questions..and i know that the heat stays in the tower, i have an accelero xtreme 9800gtx inside that does the same, so i tweaked my tower, the hot air goes straight out of the case from the side..i made it and it works better than the back exhaust...temps are 4C° lower then alternative..
btw...since im a lets call it xtreme tweaker, and mod alot , i´ll clean my PC every 2-3 month or more. so there is no dirt in there...im a clean person hehe..

dude. i KNOW ABOUT THE VRM COOLING THATS WHY I ASKED(can i manualy upgrade vrm cooling and ram).Did you even read everything????
oh boy..some one else here who has an advice with a lil brain sauce on it?

The Gainward GTX 460 GS GLH is the worst card I've ever owned in terms of thermals and noise, no VRM heatsink identical to Palit GTX 460 so no surprise. Will be returning for refund straight away and picking up either MSI, Gigabyte or EVGA.

Why you ask questions if you already know you're not gonna listen en call dudes that post information fanboys?

Most of the time there is no think like ''the best'', it's what people like the most, and thats different at any individual.

I'm owning MSI for 3 generations know, so ii'l say go for MSI. Never had probs with MSI.

I would buy the cheapest one available that has heatsinks or the zotac amp 800mhz core one provided that comes with the ram or vrm heatsink

just go for EVGA they are a great quality build and fast cards. look how its 786mb version faired against the others in the guru review.

I mean that will only change depending on the res you play at.
