    Still Banging my Head!:bang:

Auzentech Bravura are out of stock.

Amazon has the Essence ST in stock. But it seems that I cant connect my speakers(via normal analog jacks 3.5mm) to the essence st.It shows that i need some other card for my analog input.does this card come with essence st?

If i have to buy one which to buy?Amazon shows forte and essence ST/STX both in stock.

No you have to buy the H6 board which comes separate. The Forte so you can use your speakers in analog. Auzentech does have a prelude for 90 dollar used with one year warranty.

So taking the situation in consideration, will the forte do the job?I m mainly looking for new cards.I have narrowed down to either Forte or Asus Xonar D2X.

    Thanks

Forte does uses higher quailty components then creative cards.Tho IF you want a X-FI chipset then the Forte, If you dont want a creative chipset then the Asus Xonar D2X.

Tho the Forte has a headphone which is a pro incase you use headphones in the near future.

I would think that is because your previous source is not high enough quality to give you the best those cans can produce.

I would suggest a high end external can amplifer for those HD650's...

    one quick question

    A quick question.

I have a gigabyte GA-EP45-DS4P motherboard with the 4850 in the x16 slot.the problem that i saw today was that, the immediate pciex1 slot is covered by the graphics card.the x1 slot before x16 slot, has i think the north bridge cooler lined up to it.So will the forte/D2X touch/hamper in the motherboard?the forte is around 6.5 inches.

    for a photo look here.

    http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/Motherboard/BIOS_Model.aspx?ProductID=2839&ver=#anchor_os

What if i put this card in say a x4 slot?

    Thank you
