True but wouldn't 4 gigs be faster since that would be dual channel and be about twice as fast. Do you really ever use more that 4 gigs of ram?

    irrelevant for gaming.
also, i used to have a 4 gig corsair dominator dual chan setup. it did nothing for games. 6 to 8 gigs is being recommended more and more often on many popular tech sites. though you can opinionate however you wish...i was just posting pics of the dam case mostly.

    Hahaha, oke
Well the pics are great, love those small cases.
Efficient use of space and even H2O cooling build inside, I don't think I ever seen that before!

Finally got my new kit intalled:

First off did a minor mod on my case by cutting a section out, to allow swapping of CPU coolers without removing the mobo. The Cooler Master Cosmos S was not a cheap case, this should have been in the design!

    Mobo looks lonely!

    That looks better!

Even when coolermaster do make hole in the mobo as you've done they don't always get them right , on my cm690v2 the hole doesn't match the position of the cpu - not sure if it's cm's fault or just my asus mobo....

I cut this one specifically for this mobo. I don't upgrade very often so I will probably get a new case next time.:D I want to get the CPU on water at Christmas so this should make things a bit easier.

hallryu, the "sleeving" of the 24-pin extension looks horrible :D. Why not use a cable spiral (those plastic ones- like Akasa's)>? :)

Didn't have one. This is a short term measure until I find a better solution.:D

Call up MSI, 5$ for each one, tell them you purchased an MSI board and lost yours :)

Doing a little work on my rig over the summer - made the SSD my boot drive for Win 7, and I finally got around to painting it black...

Antec 900 with Rust-Oleum textured black

Thanks! Haha it feels good to be complemented by someone with such a godly rig. Now that everything's torn apart I decided to put Arctic Silver ceramique on the NB/Voltage regulator heatsink and AS5 on the SB heatsink.

Can I just say, ASUS does a s***ty job with their stock thermal paste. :biggun:
