i have a problem running this game. Im using windows 7 and while playing i experience slowdown for about less than a sec or 1 sec. is there a fix for this?is it a driver problem?same with Dirt. I already try NFS undercover and other games they are silky snooth while playing.
After I Shut my Game I have sevrel Windows opend in the background on my desktop Why does this Happen ? Is it cos we Pressing the F2/3 & 12 Buttons or something else is there a way to stop it ? Please Help
omg, i just install this pack "Ultra High Full settings" and the crash all the time, fuc...k.. what to do ? ps. i replaced everything for this..
so those settings are "crap". ? i reinstall the drivers and everything look normal... what to do to maximaze the settings ? any mod ? i google it and only found this "Ultra High Full settings"
Ultra high performance pack, and then go into the settings menu and start tweaking, test how it runs after every change
I got the game form Steam, but i´m unable to use mods on it. So what mod do you guys use, and who can i get them to work, on Steam? Many thanks
Same here. Bloody frustrating when it crashes on the final lap too! Running Grid 1.3 on Win7 64 bit... any ideas guys?
1.3 patch is out awhile now http://www.bigdownload.com/games/race-driver-grid/pc/grid-v13-patch/ it fix the crashes i use to have.
i just installed the 1.3 patch, and everything looks greater than before, i also remove the "yellow" aparience by tweaking a little bit more tweaking info here http://community.codemasters.com/forum/showthread.php?t=293482&page=13
I know this is an old game but I can't seem to get this to work properly with CrossFireX on my system... the Codemasters intro plays then I get broken geometry/flashing polygons during the loading sequence, presumably where the 3D kicks in. Anyone know why... it was working fine when I tried it with a single HD 5870? I even tried reinstalling the game and patching again to v1.3 to no avail. I generally use a NoDVD crack but I have tried it from the disc and that doesn't work either. P.S. I have the exact same issue with the first DiRT too, which uses the same engine (plus a few other games too). The strange thing is that DiRT 2, which also uses a later build of the GRID engine plays 100% fine with CrossFireX!!!
I have problems with SLI in Grid too. There is a weird slowdown/speed up bug during play. And yes, Dirt 2 is working 100% fine go figure.
I am also have issues with my 5970 not using the other gpu for grid. I can't seem to get it to kick in anymore. It was working for a while when I first got my card but now it doesn't anymore.
I fixed my CrossFire issues by using CCC > Options > Preferences > Restore Factory Defaults. GRID runs brilliantly with CrossFire and never dips below 60 fps ever on max. settings, 8xAA at 1920x1200. Despite its age it's still a fine looking game.
mine has dips from time to time like to 58fps but other than that it fly's. I wonder if it is because you are i7 or if i need more voltage to my cpu?
