i had that, it was because i modded incorrectly.. i used "Section001" but it turned out it was "Section 003"..

try and use the inf strings from 197.59 quadro. Im gonna try it later :nerd:

    edit: look for these

on a second look these installed as DDI 9EX (dxdiag) instead of the usual DDI10, I do not have any DX10 app to try with it

ah looks like I made the same mistake... my bad

hm it looks different again, im gonna give it a try and use 197.59q infs, but i see there are SET B and SET A, and by laptop2go he used only one main string..

I also saw that SET B isn't so important, most drivers don't use that part, like 197.41 or some earlier drivers.

    edit2: SET B is actually SET A 6.0.

edit: just checked laptop2go site, he's modding them as we speak, so they should be available very soon..

you know what's the funny part, i used those strings like you for my gpu @ 197.59quadro and lost 2fps in most of the games.. actually the driver acted/was the same as 197.45, but when i applied laptop2go inf i got my boost back (and StoneGiant wouldn't work again, only this app though.. it worked fine with the inf from 197.45 very odd lol).. im not saying your inf is wrong or anything, just its interesting how 2 lines change the whole picture..

I have never experienced that, I will have to try when the laptop2go inf is out because I have been using the same strings for a while for myself but I have a slow card so maybe it is just difficult to see the difference

    edit:

    btw; Cyber ;)
the links are international, when i tried my own INF i saw "NvCplSetupInt"

edit2: sry you need int for inf from laptop2go, if you downloaded eng just change "NvCplSetupEng" to int

anyway, they're the same as 197.59quadro, maybe a bit smoother., and i think i know why Stonegiant crashes, its because there is no directcompute.. i checked it with gpu-z, sam with 197.59q no directcopute in gpu-z, but 197.45 had it though and stonegiant worked fine..

modded infs haha, they show directcompute in GPU-Z with the inf I posted earlier but not with the one from laptop2go . I give up on modified infs

I mod the inf myself every time. I don't trust someone's script to keep up with changes that may be implemented in newer driver sets. It only takes about 10 seconds to copy/paste the info for my cards into any driver release.

the only problem is that you loose few fps in some apps if you use std strings,.. that inf from laptop2go has some kind of tweak or i dunno but they're faster (he changed few strings in control panel inf file), with one problem no direct compute, although when i ran that glux mark i got direct compute score..but stonegiant crashes.
