I agree. You have to keep a few meter spacing between your squadmates.

I have no problems pulling out the CG to blow a sniper out of a building.

 

If you guys haven't already seen this, it is amazing, best BFBC2 Youtube video I have seen to date, this guy is insane.

Even it would do higher damage than CG vs Vesicles ( cant find the shots now).
If you want to counter tanks you take AT-4 not RPG-7 because it cleary does more damage.

Conclusion - CG owns RPG-7 hard , and if you think about shotting choppers....

 

The AT-4 is pretty useless IMO. It doesn't work with tracers, you have to stand out in the open to guide it, it has the slowest projectile speed, and the smallest splash radius.

The RPG-7 is versatile because it does good damage against vehicles, has splash damage that makes it possible to kill infantry with it (altho not as well as the CG), and works with tracer darts making it effective vs. helicopters.

If something is useless , its RPG-7. Because the difference isn't big.

Yeah someone already posted that vid. You could put together a highlight reel of any weapon and make it seem awesome. For every crazy trick shot I'm sure there were a lot of times when he just got sniped in the face while he was standing around guiding the rocket for 10 seconds.

IMO I don't see a ton of use for the AT4, particularly with the recent buff to tracer darts. The Gustav is clearly superior for killing infantry and I find the RPG to be effective against all vehicles. I like being able to use a dart and fire from cover, at any distance, even over obstacles. Plus the RPG can be used against infantry in a pinch.

 

Dart is currently overpowered and changes done to it should be reverted or speed reduced aprox 30-40%.

I find RPG-7 projectile speed too slow , its like 50% of gustav.
For me it's allmost useless because of that.

Ofcourse because of dart RPG-7 can shine , while dart didnt help gustav THAT much. ( still helped it alot)

 

The grenade launcher is useless for me but its good for punching holes in buildings to get a nicer shot on the enemy.

True but I mostly like it for making new holes lol but really sucks against infantry.

Can anyone help me ? My inet connection is 2mbyte/s down and 3mbit/s up but in-game my ping always around 150-180, no matter which server it is, france or UK. Don't understand how its even possible to have the same crappy ping as i had before with 2mbit down/up connection ? Ping test shows average 80-90 and game shows completely different nightmare

 

BC2 just show the ping different. For me i have never below 100 in game.
While for example in CSS i have 10-20ms.


Whats your ping in server browser ? - thats the one that matters.

Bit highish. Play on those 64 ones , and you should be fine.


Do pingtest.net and post results here also.

 

I have java disabled but i can pretty clearly say that packet loss is 0%

Ah, you tested to distant server, ping seems fine.

Try on server that is close to you.
