I have the Sapphire one. Never had a problem with it and it overclocks fine. You don't get voltage control though.

i doesn't really matter tbh, it's all about what brand you prefer and what brand has the cheapest card..there is no performance difference between them, if you can get the xfx cheaper then the sapphire the go with the xfx..

it's silent and cools good, no need to worry, and yes your psu is enough, actually your psu can handle hd5870 so don't worry..

Actually, that's only half true. :)

XFX is making their own PCBs to cut costs, and most of them aren't performing up to par. They cut too many corners and a lot of people have been reporting spotty performance. You might be lucky, or you might get a dud.

I was one of the lucky ones, heh.

He should be fine if he gets the the V1 HD5770 which what I have which has the batman mobile looking cooler. I have no problems hitting 1ghz on the gpu after using MSI Ab and enable unoffical overclocking to apply the clocks. Tho I would say XFX my self for there double life time warranty.

Tho the V2 suppose to be using better memory ocing memory cpus.

It's exactly the same, but factory overclocked. :3eyes:

Stock 5770 clocks are 850/1200 in 3D and 157/300 in 2D. That one just has it overclocked at 875/1300.

I'm confused. Is that what you're asking?

don't buy pre-overclocked cards they cost more, you can save a few tenners buying the stock clocks card and you can overclock it with catalyst control center very easily.
