I am getting P14178 with my current system in 3DMark Vantage. though i never running Vantage on stock and I dont know how to put in the screenshot here...
Can anyone say whether the Q6600 @ stock would be a bottleneck with an HD5850? And what would be the benefit if I should OC it to 3.0Ghz?
It would be; can't comment on the extent since I don't own a 5850. Pretty decent benefit; especially CPU-frequency bound games like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. will benefit hugely from an OC to 3GHz. I am speaking from experience here.
Well I have a 5850 and my Q6600 is at 3.4. my vantage gpu score is 12200 which i know is well below average. so im assuming im still getting a bottleneck.
