You can't tell me that the 10 year old PS2 chip added a lot of extra cost to the PS3.

Are they bad too, i never owned one, used PC emulators on mine, buggy as hell with some game, but near perect with others, but you can some fantastic graphics out them, GT4, especially the US version, looked really nice.

I wouldn't either, i only sign up to be a beta tester to get something for free, but alot of people are chomping at the bit to get this, and a few other games.
Getting people to pay them to work for them is so cheeky, that it's actually funny.

nhlkoho, one chip doesn't seem like much, but when it comes to millions of consoles sold, it all add's up, and Sony did go through a rough spell, and were already losing money on every PS3 sold.

Having a life, in other words not spending 12 hours a day on the console might help ;)

Not using it at all is another.

No more PS2 gaming(never used it anyway)

Whats sonys returns policy these days?

When i had a PS2 that was 2nd hand and way out of warrenty they still replaced it for me for free.

A courier came with a new unit and took the old one away.

Will sony still do this with the PS3? Asking as my mother has got one. She got it mainly as a blu-ray player as it was cheaper at the time than an actuall blu-ray player lol.

hmm i read that GT5 will have 3D. hopefully it wont be delayed any longer because of this. i have a feeling , it might look outdated in 2011 :(

    Really??
3D is wasted on a racing game unless you can achieve 100-120fps, i love 3D effects in movies and games as much as anyone, but i would take 60fps in a racing game in 2D over 30fps in 3D.

I doubt it will cause anymore delays, seems to be very quick for Nvidia to implement on PC games, all it should be is telling the game to render from two slightly different points of view.

Is there going to be weather in the game? If so, to what extent?
