    http://eastore.ea.com/store/ea/en_US/html/pbPage.BFBC2

    Promo code: PAXEAST842

I tried it, it took the code and went down to 19.95

    Digital Only.

The ONLY BAD PART ABOUT THIS:

EA Downloader. Sucks, but hey, 20$ for such a game? That's insane!

    -----

Isn't it amazing, EA can afford to do this? BC2 sold really well and continues to do well.

So did MW2, but it's still 60$, 10$ more than BC2 on release, and it hasn't got a reduction yet. One sale, that lasted like a day, and that was 30$.

BC2, less than one month after release, for 20$ on sale, despite not being a failure and most likely taking Multiplayer FPS of the Year award.(Good chance, but 2010 is still young.)

EDIT: It appears to work for ANY EA GAME OVER 39$

Wow.. $19.95 is truly amazing deal..

But EA downloader bothers me. I believe it's like EA's own "steam"

yeah but you only get access to download the files for a year. So if for some reason you lose your data after a years time you have to buy the game again.

Which is actually a really ridiculous system. Hence why I won't do it.

Great deal on the game but I would rather pay full price on steam cause I trust the quality of the download more then EA's downloader.

Yeah, I've got the Steam version also.

But I mean, I'm sure some people out there will see it and be like "I can deal with it, for 20$." :p

Almost did it... I filled out the 'order' form and just as I was about to hit the send button, said to myself "WTF am I doing? I have fifty games that I haven't completed and I don't play multiplayer anyway!"

For once, sanity prevails. I just can't pass up a bargain!

Well, it's such an amazing bargain really, I can't blame anyone who buys it just for the sake of having a back up or reselling the CD key maybe for a jacked price... :p

You can backup the eadm directory. That's what I always do before a reformat..

Can somebody school a noob on how the multiplayer servers work? I assume EA has their own? Does the Steam version use the same? The only multiplayer I've ever done is a little Team Fortress when Steam has their free weekends...Also GTA4 for free on GFWL. What's the cost otherwise?

    Thanks!

    No cost otherwise.

Steam & EA uses the same servers, every version does.

20$, and you get to play the game just like that.

Seriously, thanks for the info, and the heads-up on the sale.

EA keeps showing that extend service for their download manager but it doesn't seem to be in effect, I can still download Crysis and Crysis Warhead for example along with several other earlier titles I own via their system.

Not sure about the whole EADM thing, I have the Steam version, but I hear this acts just like the disc version.

And yeah Shadow, new Medal of Honor for 30$.

Ironically it uses the Frostbite Engine for MP.

Weirdest idea really, two different engines for one game like that...
