BC2 looks pale with these, the flickers are still there but less frequent compared to previous drivers, going back to 10.3OpenGL4..

So did I, but it does not update the D3d driver as you will see when installing it. It just updates CCC.

I thought these drivers made bfbc2 look darker. Anyway I still have horizontal scrolling lines. I initially installed over 10.3a and had lines then I unistalled 10.3b and profiles and then reinstalled 10.3b. On initial start up of game no lines, but when I exited and restarted game the lines were back.

Desktop was the same, pale and washed, went back to 10.3 official and colour returned to normal

It is not pale for me, it's not darker for me, but it is BSODing!

After having these drivers installed over the OpenGL4.0 drivers i got the horizontal lines running over my screen. But Flickering was gone.

After i un installed them, driverclean, install 10.3b ->10.3a and now smooth, great fps, no more flickering. Need to find out what happends after the opengl4.0 will try tomorrow.

Yip, you can't put them over 10.3OpenGL (8.712.3.1) cos that definately has a higher driver version number than 10.3b (8.712.3). That .1 at the end makes a difference.
I thought, earlier, you had tried to go from 10.3a to 10.3b and failed

Flickering is still present in BC2 and the FPS is a sporadic as ever.

So the flickering fix for BC2 doesn't work?

Well, is not like they launched drivers for XP x64 anyway, so i'll have to wait... I hope that the next hotfix, beta or whatever they launch comes with a working fix and FOR XP x64 GODDAMNIT! :bang: Not even modifyed drivers exist for XP x64, if i also had money for Windows 7 i'd have bought a HD5870 instead of my HD5770...

It does fix flickering for me, I prefer if every one would uninstall all ATI drivers then reinstall 10.3b, but it causes BSOD with some stop errors of 0x00000124 and other Stop errors that I don't remember now.

Ohh well, it's getting close to 4:00 AM and I have work today at 8:30 AM !

Hope these 4 hours will be enough for me to complete my job tasks today.

Exact same thing happened here -_-. I was playing BC2 for ~ 5 min, and then the game started flickering like 10.3a did, but shortly after, it locks up and BSODs. Looks like it's a screwed up driver then.

I put the memory dump into WinDbg and this is what it tells me the BSOD was caused by:
    Code:
READ_ADDRESS: GetPointerFromAddress: unable to read from fffff8000222f080
     0000000000005324
    DEFAULT_BUCKET_ID: VISTA_DRIVER_FAULT
    MODULE_NAME: atipmdag
    IMAGE_NAME: atipmdag.sys
    Probably caused by : atipmdag.sys ( atipmdag+3336fd )

So I guess it's not limited to 5000 series cards.
