About a couple weeks ago, when I reinstalled my Windows 7 Ultimate, I specifically remember one of the updates (KB979306) having to do with making sure that the Daylight Savings Time change went smoothly. Well...any/all of you that are running Win7 should check your clock... Isn't it "Spring FORWARD, Fall BACK"?? - I know I lost an hour that day and haven't made up for it yet! I envy those that frequent here that aren't in a state/country that changes times twice a year just to get another hour of daylight for working hours. When I lived in Scottsdale, AZ, there was no time change, and I always wondered what it would be like - never having to change your clocks and gain or lose an hour twice a year; and I tell you, it was fantastic! I don't understand why the rest of the country (mostly) is still using this antiquated system anyway... Psychlone
Dunno -_- Sunday 28th March 2010 the clocks go forwrd Sunday 31st October 2010 they return back. In teh uk.
(check the thumbnail I attached and compare it to yours - does it even say the same thing?) Psychlone
DST went fine for me on windows vista, no reason to lol or bitch, I mean the whole country switches it's time and after living it 22 times it still doesnt make much diff in my life
It's actually not the date that I was referring to - it's the part (on mine) where it says "The clock is set to go BACK 1 hour at that time" that I LOL'd at. Although, it looks like DCX's is ok... What's up with that?? Psychlone
Are you even reading what it says? It says that in November it will go back an hour aka when daylight savings ends... What are you talking about?
Explain why is this LOL? in fall the time goes back in spring the time goes forward... your picture says: November the clock goes back...
I lol'd at Mountain Time, but that might just be me. But i am confused at what the point is, was something wrong about MS's DST update, or is it a complaint about DST in general, cause it is there for a reason.
I think the OP has got confused and forgot that the clocks only just went forward an hour last weekend lol. Mind you, a clue here is when he posted "Spring forward, Fall back".. I would of thought he cought on to what he had done at that point lol but maybe the OP is feeling a bit "blonde" today :banana:uke2:
You could always come back to AZ. :nerd: I love not having to worry about changing my clock(s), its AWESOME! :wanker:
Pfft I quite like it when they go forward, suddenly you get an extra hour of daylight in the evening and nobody cares about light in the morning so it's all gooood. The autumn change sucks though
