Do you have another set of Creative drivers you could install the Console from?

 

the console i have, just the volume panel (thats in the autostart and then in the tray usualy,when i start my PC) is missing..i tried to install it thru the volume panel setup ( that i found in the pack) but it keeps saying i allready have an newer version installed, exiting setup.

by the way, there is no trace of an volumepanel.exe or whatever in my system, not in the programms tab, uninnstall tab, nor in the programm folders. only the shortcut is in the startmenue, when i klick it, it says not found..

but i gotta admit, games sound better, way better..musik too. movies, hmmm when i watch movies it seems the bass is strange, but its ok..

Beta you need help still? If there to much bass you always can tone it down. In the WDM inf by NT Install And also you have reinstalled the drivers that only down side. But you have lower by 5%. As for that one error setup you need to installed it. Thanks for trying them out .

 

ok..tried em again...and same thing...it detects and installs fine...but I have to go and change all my settings to the 'default' as it resets to my hdmi cable *which I have for my video directly to my Asus VW266H, but dont want for my audio, I use my Audigy for Quad sound on my Klipsch's thru analogue*. Even on foobar, it detects just fine, all the drivers yet, no sound whatsoever, VLC plays movies just fine, with no sound coming out, yet all the drivers are POINTED in the right places...just with the driver, no sound. crazy.

 

At ASlayer You might need reisntalled software . Please make sure you used the other cleaner pro free one if you don't think sweeper doing it's job that's why there to of them. After you uninstalled the driver from device manager then rerun cleaner and sweeper togather try that. Then Reboot. Then run a reg fixer from iobit.com adv windows one care. and do regdfrag That way you reg is all fix up. Then reinstalled drivers. I installed on my bro audigy 2 card I had no issue.

with the bass, i know i cann tone it down, but i mean it is, argh i dont know how to say that, different..anyway thats ok like that..

my question was, why is there an error in the setup? i made an screen a post earlier..

and second where did the Volume Panel go?
and why does it say i have an newer verison installed when trying to use the volume panel setup from your pack?

cause your pack doesnt install the volume panel...you know that lil icon in the tray?

You may have reinstalled software suite with the drivers If you still can't get PM me I can help you out.

Been playing UT3 last night the sound was superb , it was crackling and broken up with Dan and Standard creative drivers.

Also wolverine movie was Brilliant!

 

oooo wait for upcoming driver I been tweaking out the sound bit more .

 

Can it be installed over the top? , don't want to go through all that reinstalling malarky again

 

Nope you can't do that if you do you won't get fullness of the tweaks.

 

lool...anyway, what are you changing in the next update?

maybe you have an answer for me^^

i have a Prob with the CMSS3d module..

when i tweak my shell32.dll a lil bit, like change a background, etc...
the cmss3d wont work anymore, its not making 5.1 out of stereo sources anymore, as soonest i change back to the Original shell32.dll file (in the win-system 32 folder, its a sys file) it will work again, even without reboot.

so my question is why that is? other soundcards dont have this problem, its only creative relatet, i was writing to creative but they just said that im stupid, messing with a sys file..but you and i know that changing a background or icon in the shell32.dll or explorerframe.dll shouldnt have an impact on the cmss3d anyway...
you know what i mean?

maybe you are the one taht can give me an reasonable answer to it^^

cause i want to style my win and use cmss3d , that i can watch stereo movies on all speakers^^

Can you show me mate I don't have X64 system yet. Hopely end of the month if not April sometime for sure.

 

hehe I think might not mate I just solve the issue What-U-Hear it fully works now even so great it works even with Audacity 1.3 Beta Before I was keep getting error on it now works prefect.
