NV43 shouldn't be supported and by the way the threshold should be 120°C

Winxp sp3. I haven't experienced this over-heat problem, but, I always set my gpu fan to 100% especially with cpu oc.

Over-heat problem with these drivers is on Guru news now.

Highly dissapointed in Nvidia over this. Where was the quality control?

Gutted for you guys with problems, hope Nvidia replace your cards.

meh all drivers since 195 are crap, i think its because when they where leaked form some Chinese site, nvidia then took them for their own and started tweaking from there, but yea i think its something terribly wrong with these 195 and upwards and they don't seem to fix it..

This driver was trying to kill my GTX260 by breaking the fan control. The fan just stops working and stay at 0%, after a reboot the fan was at 40% again but the temperature during 3Dmark 06 went up to 95c with the fan still at 40%.( normaly the card only gets up to 58c under load). Now I'm back to 195.62

This driver was pulled because it was buggy and caused the fan to stop working.

This needs to be put into perspective people. 95% of us have no speed fan issues at all with this driver so that obviously tells me this issue is an isolated one with rare models only. Everyone is freaking out thinking there cards are going to fry geez..

I have played several games and also BM'd several times and my 9600GT overclocked is the same temp it has been since I bought it. I'm using RivaTurner to OC my card by 10% no problems at all.

I had this issue with my GTX 275 & 196.75 drivers. You have to be an idiot(no offense :p) not to realize auto fan control wasn't working. Just the lack of sound while playing a game should tell you that. Plus any minor texture issues should alert you to the fact there might be a heat issue. I could understand the average person that doesn't know much about PCs, but gurus have no excuses!

Has anyone experienced vsync issues with this driver? It seems that I'm still getting screen tearing in BFBC2 and ME2 regardless of my vsync settings with these drivers.
