CoP now works with fraps just fine also. Started up first time when running side by side. Time to test AVP and BC2!

Codmodernwarfare 2 was running very smooth with adaptive multi-sampling x4. huge amount of fps here :) (record i think for me...was almost touching 300 at one stage)

mass effect 2 seems to run better with adaptive multi-sampling on as well. better than msaa...i thought it should be the other way around or I am confused..

no, its actually more ATI friendly than nVidia.

even a 4890 outperform GTX 285 in this game.

its the issue of the game itself, that only happens in Multi-GPU setup.

my old GTX 295 was horrible too... it stutters extremely in Warhead..

I find this game to be a lot more smoother with single GPU setup..
and ATI generally have way higher FPS on highest setting in Crysis, even with no AA/AF.

There must be something wrong with combination of my hardware, there is no way i can install this driver for last 2 days i tried every posible combinaniton there is, anything regarding installing a drivers.

From fresh Win install to driver sweeped every single ATi file to installing over WHQL drivers and every other combination posbile, and there is just no go, it keeps hanging on Windows 7 load screen.

Oh well, have to wait for newer drivers..

These drivers are excellent in Bad Company 2...

And that's without the v-synch/triple buffering combo enabled.

These really smoothed out far cry 2 also, and nfs shift.

  10. i can't seem to get a key for bc2 :( I wanna play it so bad lol..

jskyg - you know you can overclock a lot higher than CCC limits with that 5850 right?..

I'm getting driver crashes for Batman: Arkham Asylum for this and the driver doesn't reset itself. 8.700 is stabler.

There is as work around for the super sized mouse until they get the issue fixed. Go under control panel and then under hardware & sound. Click on mouse, under mouse properties go to pointer options. Then check the box that says display pointer trails. This will keep it from growing on you. If you don't like the trails, as I don't, just move the slider to the far left to make the trails short, it's hardly noticeable. The only draw back to this is if you use windows media center the mouse will not show up if the screen is maximized due to a known bug. Hope this helps.

  13. if you enable the pointer trails you'll also find it will affect a lot of games too, there will be no mouse ingame (main screen mouse in nfs shift for example) You can still use keyboard but some games are difficult without the mouse.

I too have the biggest loser mouse cursor.

Haven't ran across that myself, but I'm only playing a couple of games on the PC right now. Good to know.

    Best drivers ever for me.

Everything went up, MW2 now 91fps all the time and no flashbang bug either.

BC2 still has flashing textures but performs smoother.

Crysis WH is smoother also now getting around 45fps min and 72fps avg at highest settings, 2xaa, 4xaf.

If you disable HBAO, your framerates would be better. For some people it doubles their framerate with it off.

Awesome performance in BC2 with these, and even better later when we get the optimizations Dice made.

yes Ive had it up to 850/1175 np, (need more voltage to go higher) but it wont allow powerplay to work and honestly theres no game this card cant handle easily at the CCC limits.

it's cause crysis is a very shader intensive game. that's why ati cards have a slight edge with the game cause of more stream processors and shaders ati cards have
