I need to get a new mouse and would like a new keyboard as well. I have a Microsoft optical mouse right now and a Microsoft hotkey keyboard. The nice is kind of grungy now and the keyboard is pretty loud. I just wanted some opinions on what you were using. I would like a mouse with at least 5 buttons as that is what I have now, and I would like a keyboard that has programmable hotkeys. I like the calculator hotkey, my computer and the mute/volume buttons. I don't care about the web surfing buttons. I have read a few of the mouse reviews on guru3d but there really aren't many. Please share your likes and dislikes of your current setup. Are the macros very useful? At what point is the DPI scanning enough? 2000? 3000? 5000?
i gotz g15 keyboard and g9 mouse. cant complain. i love them. plenty of buttons on mouse and macros on keyboard.
I have a Logitech G15 keyboard and a Logitech G9 mouse too! Love that the keyboard has backlighting, and programmable keys! Its really amazing how handy the backlight is. It also has a display, which can be quite usefull. Same goes for the mouse, really enjoy using it. It has changable grips, one that is sweat resistant, and since i have problems with that it is very nice having a mouse that stays dry. I prefer it over the G5.
Using a Razor Deathadder mouse, which I have to say is probably the best mouse ive owned, and Ive been through a few! As for the keyboard, I have a Razer Lycosa, which Im pretty pleased with. Keys have a very nice feel to them, although I dont rate the media buttons on it at all - meant to be touch sensitive, but they are not particularly sensitive! LOL.
i really only have positive feedback for anything logitech. keyboard,mouse,camera,speakers,gamepad,g25wheel,airplane joystick all logitech all superb quality.
Too general info you have given. Budget? Are you a gamer? I use a simple A4Tech AK-47, and my APM ain't as fast as that mouse. It's your choise, but I think you shouldn't throw too much money on it
Logitech G9 with a a $7 SIIG keyboard. Keyboard makes no difference to me. This keyboard is inaudible, and I can wash it the bathtub as its waterproof! I'd like to see an expensive keyboard do that.
Well yes I play games. Probably not going to spend more than 40 or 50 for mouse, and maybe 60 or 70 for keyboard...Much rather spend a lesser amount of money and buy other things.
Same here. Running the Razer Deathadder and Razer Lycosa. For me, I wanted precision and high sensitivity with my mouse, and for my keyboard I wanted a quality backlit keyboard that was aesthetically pleasing.
