    Running Afterburner 1.5.0 Beta 5.

Had to reboot my machine and I got the message below. I restored my drive from my morning disk image when it was working and even that didn't stop the error.

Could AB really be expired? I don't see a newer version

    Thanks.

Yeah, mine's expired too. I guess MSI wants me to use other software.

Ah,,, misery loves company. Must be a bugaboo since this release has only been out for a short time.

One week is quite a stretch from a "long time". Maybe we could build in a little development grace period? Say... two weeks?

Yes, definitively. And reading the threads like that I'm starting to think more and more that giving the betas to everyone and to people unable to read and think is actually a bad idea.

They gave it a time limit because it is BETA version intended for SHORT previewing and TESTING ONLY. They did it to leave lamers behind and to prevent anyone from keeping BETA version installed for long period of time.
Like it or dislike it, beta versions will always have 1 week trial period. Don't like the fact - just stay away of public new versions beta testing process, let more experienced users to test it and stay on full releases ONLY. Simple as ABC.

I think a limited number of beta testers can be selected but then who would do the selection and how? A simple answer is Unwinder does the selection and at his own will but then that may sound like too much effort on its own... Idk but I'm starting to think more and more that it's a pain to be a software developer.

Thank you Unwinder for your efforts and your excellent products! ;)

Nvidia beta driver works fine with AB 1.4.2. Fixes the overclock problem.
