the the z5500 would be enough for me too. but im sure a nicely done custom system would be best.

much nicer than my old acer, but i still cant figure out how to overclock it. i gotta pull the motherboard out and check the PLL number on the clock generator chip, which is conveniently located on the inaccessible part of the motherboard...

Same question here,, Is it worth going over from air (push/pull Noctua) to a complete H20 system like the corsair?

Wow that's pretty good, @ 3.2 under a sunbeam ccf mine idles in the mid 20's and top out around 48-49c. I'd be curious to try a sealed loop like that though. Or one of the swiftech 120x240 setups.

More and more people are using xiggies. I see they have a transparent 120MM now and you can select blue, green or red. The specs look slightly better than the original orange and blacks. I am getting two two sit on an AC Accelero and modd it to my 5850! Or a Scythe Musashi and remove the stock black fans..
    Will post pics
    Lovely!!!

@Barwell1992 - Nice rig man! I couldn't wait to see a picture of yours to compliment after you spent all that time chillin in my thread. :p

Too bad those PCIe power cables aren't any longer huh? Otherwise you could tuck them away...

yes, many brands use MXM but usually only in highest end notebooks.

you can go to http://mxm-upgrade.com/ to see a list of the majority of MXM based/upgradable laptops.

alot of companies like dell use their own sockets, but it seems more and more are using MXM so future upgradeability looks promising.

    Accelero L2 Pro FTW

I finally got my Arctic Cooling Accelero L2's for my HD 4770s. They have lowered my idle temps ~10-15 C. I have not done any gaming yet and don't know how much they have taken off of load temps. For anyone having second thoughts with these cards in CrossFireX w/ Accelero L2's, have no more doubts! Time to start OC'ing these bad boys

Those Accelero L2's look pretty nice. Nice reduction in temps as well, time for some load testing now. :p

I need to post pics of my rig, soon as I get it cleaned and tidy up the cables lol.
