Because not all need overclock to take a good performance.

Because if the game run better for me then the last drivers. Then It runs better even if i cant oc. I dont put OC and drivers together. I can wait for a update to ocing tools. I not gonna go back to a worst driver because I cant oc my card.

These drivers are working great for me better then the last.

Because not everyone uses software to OC, or do not OC at all, or driver works better for them now despite the lack of OC

For me, I never used OC software (never trusted them much) I set the OC on the BIOS and have been using the same ever since. I voted "About the same as previous drivers" because I did not get much of an improvement

Mass Effect 2 is working is SLI, however nvidia screwed up what exe file is for it. So you need to change it manualy in NvApps.xml

though i use that method too, desktop and laptop with mobile nividia, i understand why some people shouldn't do it. its not a risk free process like software (rt or af). and some people don't have a floppy drive or have never used one.

How are you running Mass Effect 2?! The game hasn't even come out yet!

I'll test these drivers once i get back to my Win7 computer and see if there's any bugs for the 8600GT.

I work from a home office doing tech support and the company had not approved 7 / 64 bit until this week.. so that said I did a clean install of home premium and updated all the drivers. other than the issue with EVGA precisions clock it seems to be a good driver.. dare i say.. and O ya..
HOLY CRAP did MS actually make a good OS? I must say 7 is a sweet pleasure to use so far.
( srry threw that in there) and i don't OC this card so the fan controls work im cool. and glad to be here and meet you all.. very knowledgable group :)

7 IS pretty sweet, been using it since RC and still going strong.(cool tip if you have multiple monitors, hit Winkey+P to change monitor configuration)

Well either way, i switched back to the previous drivers. they work hella great for me so im happy..

As for Overclocking with the new drivers, i think ill wait until all OC progs support the new drivers before i make a full switch.
