Battlefield - Bad Company 2

It's on Steam and Gamersgate as well (Both also having 1943 and limited digital edition versions.) unsure about beta access though and price differences. (Retail is cheaper but slower here.)

It sucks, but retail pre-order does not give beta access. I found out the hard way, it is only through digital pre-ordering.
Oh, well, I still submitted a request to join the beta.

 

I've been waiting the whole month for the steam pre-order :cry:, but nothing happens

I guess I'll have to go with D2D

Supposedly it was originally meant to be DX9 and DX10 only but it might have a DX11 mode as well from what I've read, unsure.

(That stuff about 1943 and BadCompany 2 using version 1.x something with version 2 being DX11 capable, of course by now the PC edition might already have this functionality added to it.)

hummm I'll go with D2D too if steams doesn't do a crap about it.

I prefer Steam of course but D2D doesn't botter me. I got Risen, RE5, Sacred 2 & Borderlands from them, all working fine.

to be honest i rarely prone in mw2, only when screen covered with blood. so i dont think it will be much problem for me. any of u usually prone?

There's some other stuff to it as well other than getting access to the website just so you know and eventually can get into the actual beta test.

 

I'm thinking of preordering this from my local retailer since I won't have time to play in the beta anyway, should I get Battlefield Bad Company 2 Limited Edition or the regular one? (since I heard that the so called bonuses from LE will be avalible in the standard game also once you advance in rank/level)

 

You just get those perks earlier along with three bonus weapons from Battlefield 1943 which I think was the M1 garand, Thompson and something else.

EDIT: Nearly right, it's the M1A1 (Thompson or what it's called.) and M1911 Colt pistol so two weapons.

 

Last drivers pretty much confirms DX10 atleast I have both a DX9 & DX10 SLI profiles in Nhancer!
