The fan on my Cooler Master 1250 is starting to pulse. Starts quite, then gets really loud. This happens over and over. Then sometimes the fan just starts screaming. WTF? It was all good until I added a second 300gig velociraptor. What could I have done? :bang: I installed it with the system off. Cooler Master has yet to return any of my emails. :biggun:

hmm well does it stop if you disconnect the drive or put it on a different cable?

Tried disconnecting the drive. Didn't fix the problem. Tried swapping the cables too. Nadda.

ok well hmm fans are the first thing to go a lot of times...I assume you've insured it's the fan by jamming something there to keep it from spinning. There's a possibility the fan controller has gone out though too

I think the fan controller is the problem. The fan is all funked up now. I actually heard a whine from the PSU last night. I'm going to RMA it. Thanks for the help Makalu.
