Catalyst 9.12's due for release Wednesday 16th..

Don't want to cut any hopes, but most certainly this drivers are the final ones.
Don't forget that ATI drivers are always one month behind, so if these are dated 24/11/2009 that's the finals for sure.

 

Ah come on, release them already.

By the way the Catalyst Maker seems like som sort of an oblivious douche. Sure, PR only reflects the good things - of course - but it would be nice of him to at least adress complaints on Twitter, it's not very time consuming. Still no word on The Saboteur for example.

 

Saboteur runs fine with dirt2 hotfix and with 9.12, so don't worry.

 

Saboteur needs a patch, not drivers.

Patch is in the works BTW.

I'm not trying to be a thorn, just telling it like it is bro. It's just an unfair reality.

 

Well I went and installed the released set of new drivers, and I've already experienced two major hangs when running DiRT 2 with them. Once when changing graphical settings and secondly when exiting the game.

What does a man have to do to get reliable drivers on a 5770? Hope the official release tomorrow doesn't suffer the same problems.
