Just a bump to an old thread. Tried the latest Catalyst hotfix from the AMD support site and it didn't work. Advice from anyone with the Powercolor version of the 3850 AGP card using drivers later than 8.6 (from Powercolor website) greatly appreciated. MJay27 ??

How old is your Powercolor 3850 AGP Rich_Guy?

Your link is the one I just tried. After the install it showed a report saying driver failed.

 

Ahh sorry, i thought you might have been on about the 9.11 hotfix so wasn't sure, and i dont have a 3850.

Have you tried what esticbo and spathi suggested above

 

The Powercolor drivers page here has this:

I've just got this card and wondered whether that's the most recent driver that will work with it.
