is it possible to manage the auto-fan-speed in rivatuner in the way msi after burner supports it. i mean regulation with a nice diagram or at least make the "auto fan speed control rule" editable.

Try the video guide made by Nick at http://rivatuner.doomdealer.com/

The only question I have is how can I save my setting for next time to load back after I reformat my machine.

i export the registry entrys made by rivatuner.

i am sorry to bother you, but the only way i can adjust the fan speed is to set profiles and switch them with temperatur monitoring. thats the only solution i found till now: http://www.guru3d.com/article/rivatuner-20-fan-speed--overclock-guide/. it works just fine and it's extremly adjustable but i like the auto fan control afterburner has.

    and with

    i meant those setting:

if i edit the hex in the poweruser tab (rivatuner->fan->current device->autofanspeedparam) they automatically revert back to the previous/original setting.

i didn't found a way to edit those neither did i find a manual. if i had i wouldn't bother anybody, sorry.

Come to this point, I am curious about the pros and cons of having this auto linear fan changing control and overwriting VGA BIOS with new values for fan control.

Sorry if I am asking a noobie question.

I don't see anything wrong writing new values in VGA BIOS but for me is easy to change them in Riva instead flashing my BIOS. :)
