I mean how the F..k Ray should find something new like super sampling without a sample of 5800 series card.

So get him one, like last time with 4800 series support and everything will be fine very soon.

    Hi:

I installed the latest beta on Win 7 x64, and when I tried to run the program, Windows says that the atitray64.sys driver is not digitally signed and because of that is unable to load it.

I went to the properties of the file, and saw that in fact it has a certificate but it has troubles because it appears to be a non trusted certificate.

The only workaround that I have found for this, is to run the Digital Signature Enforcement Overrider (http://www.ngohq.com/home.php?page=dseo).

    After that it worked flawlessly.

    Hi Ray,

I tried to make a screenshot in game but the result was the windows' desktop not the 3D game.
Using 1.6.9.1433 with Catalyst 9.10 driver only in PNG type "Agressive 3D detection" off.

May be I have to enable something for it to work?

Can you FPS in game? ATT can make screenshot only if it can show FPS

    OSD was disabled.

I tried OSD enabled but with FPS hidden (I don't like to have things displayed in game when not benchmarking) and then it worked.

So yes, Screenshots work only if "Display OSD" is enable.

Thank you for the tip ;)

All of the clocks seem to be behaving themselves over the last few builds.

I have noticed some differences between the ATT volatge and the reading in GPUZ (0.3.6)
    When ATT = 0.953 / GPUZ = 1.0000

Have to say I'm fairly impressed with how far I've been able to clock this card so far.
I've had the clocks go as high as 882/1312 before problems start.
Can't wait till I get the H2O going...

I love ATT and use it now several years but now i got problems under my new windows 7. Same Hardware (dual-boot!) with XP no such problems but under Wimdows 7 several Appz crashes or even will not start.
First i could't find the reasons and reinstall Win 7, then i reconigze if ATT is started some Appz get an Appcrash or do not start (e.g. Windows Live Messenger, Java) and after i shutdown ATT all Appz work again.

I tried the latest Beta 2 days ago!

    OS: Windows 7
    Hardware:
CPU Typ QuadCore AMD Phenom II X4 Black Edition 955
    Motherboard Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P
    Memory 3328 MB
    ATI Radeon HD 4890 (RV790)

I am using ver 1433 and it will not make a screenshot in Red Faction Guerilla. The OSD is on and showing me a correct FPS. DX9 games work fine. My card is the 5870.

well the reason not to lose the old file is if as it did for me the wizard cant even open most of the contained files.

you know its failing when ATT.exe wont even open or read for install.

hmm i cant figure this refresh problem out :(

I tried downloading the P1130 driver from dell's site, and it wont install cause its from 2002, and the one windows has (generic) is from 2006.

The problem I have is a few days ago I had a 295 GTX in this machine. This machine ran and allowed me to choose 100hz as a refresh rate at 1600x1200. I swap in the 5870, and now i am capped at 85? I dont think this is a driver issue (monitor wise) as it worked just fine on the nvidia card, but now that its an ATI card it doesnt.

I tried to use power strip, but I guess thats a no go since I have windows 7. I had this same issue with my 4870x2 on vista tho.

the screenshot above shows its max reported res (1600x1200 100hz) but for some reason the ATI software wont let me pick it?

just wanted to update, I was able to fix this. It was a pain in the ass, and involved, reading the EDID information, saving it. then using a program to edit it, and then use another program to save it into an INF file. then I had to manually update the generic monitor drivers with the new one I created, and then I rebooted, and now 100 shows in the drop down in the ATI tool. I am happy again!
