My system Win 7 ultimate 64 bits says my ATI HD 4870 2750M 2GB DDR5 is out dated....I got to the maker: XFX and they still don't have the last driver for it...actually they don't have any for Win7. Anyone can tell me where to download the driver for it? My Nero and WMP and others won't work ok....I start to believe is a matter of driver for my ATI. I don't pay for driver, so please give me a link, if you will for a free, honest driver. Shame the ATI official site has a automatic download from a 'robot driver' that urges you to pay for it! 'fake'!!!!!!!!! 'Thanks in advanced.
I have no idea what you're talking about with that "robot driver" of yours, but here's the link: http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx?p=win7/windows-7-64bit
spyware--thats the load...I'm getting mad right now...seems all is falling apart and I'll format so angry I'm with that mess in my win 7.. tthanks you guys for helping me..
Probably part of the videocard's model name for XFX or somethin'. Some brands out there often come up with really weird-ass names, y'know.
actually I lost the URL..or can't find it right now...as soon I got the time to do it I'll write it here...about the spyware, I'm not anymore so sure it's one or a false positive...sometimes the Avira founds it sometimes it wo'nt...while I do the local scanner directing to specific folder where is supposed to be (finds nothing) while when I do the general scanner *all over the discs' it finds..so....got to investigated. I decide to use the 'microsoft anti virus' let's see now.
Could be something like 'Driver Detective' software, which when downloaded will scan your computer for free and tell you which drivers have updates availible. You have to pay a registration fee before the software will retrieve the new drivers and install them. Their links can be confusing on sites as they appear to be a driver download button. It's not spyware/malware though.
closed Poste- FIXED thanks! now all is ok. I did run the malware tool kit/ killer from Microsoft and it did found 3 nasty ones and did clean then all. Now I'm using the anti virus from Microsoft. I unistalled the Avira Free I had. Hopefully will be all fine from now on.'Looks ok, looks all running ok.I will close this post, now.:flip2::flip::bigsmile:
