Anybody know of any rumors of a new service pack for 7 soon? Fu(ck)ed Microsoft once again!!!!
7 just came out, it generally takes a year before they release a SP. I also don't get what you mean by "Fâ«ucked Microsoft once again" - but it's an annoying comment and you should probably refrain from posting it in the future.
Considering how good it is straight out, I don't see why you are complaining, other than complaining for the sake of complaining.
I vote most stupid thread ever. First off there is no current need for a service pack - they just released the bloody thing and second, they update it so much now that service packs are less warranted than previous versions.
Considering that he lists his occupation as "computer repair specialist" I doubt he'd be using an illegal version. Maybe he justs expects more out of Win 7 than we do. Myself I'm very pleased with it and have been since the RC was released. I think MS got it right this time and I think all the beta releases helped.
Yep....Win7 is perfect... I've got an issue that I can't seem to pinpoint the cause of. When running F@H, I get BSOD's.....if I let my system idle, it randomly reboots.
I dunno whats he ranting bout either. I love win7 so much to be honest. It runs damn stable for me. Honestly feels faster then vista, looks great, and blows xp apart. Just wish my 8800gts512 hadnt died so I could get more use out gaming on win 7
A lot of Service Packs are simply a lot of already released fixes clumped into one. However, Microsoft will usually toss in a feature-related change too. The most recognized one was probably the addition of a firewall in Win XP SP2. In fact, Win XP SP2 might be the best SP ever released by MS to date.
I did a clean install.....so, either it's a problem with Win7, or I've got a driver failing that Win7 is completely incapable of logging. Event log is completely clear except for the "error" messages telling me that Windows started up after an improper shutdown.
Try first reinstalling your video card driver, If you let win7 install the driver for you and didnt do a manual install it may be the problem.
jep, there is one...i installed these , lets say beta updates a while ago, and it showed : windows 7 ultimate sp1 in the computer info... but i reinstalled my sys new cause i messed up something, not relatet to these updates... when i find the link or a pic of it i will show you... gotta go to work now.. greetz Beta
