Scythe S-Flex's are awesome. Those beat Noctua's in some reviews and lose in some...

    noiseblocker multiframe , noctua , sythe s-flex , enermax magma , thermalright fdb .

all the above are very good quality fans and worth every penny.

    Scythe Gentle typhoon....
Maximum air flow, CFM ±10% 57.6
    Maximum noise level, dB(A) 28

Is this some kind of a joke? Seriously? 28dB for only 57.6 cfm?
    Quiet, where? During a thunderstorm?

    I'll take my SilenX IXP-76-18 @
    Air Flow 90 CFM
    Noise Level 18 dBA

    Any day!!!!

I ended up getting the SilenX IXP-76-18 120mm Case Fans x5, my only concern is how long they will hold up, some reviews said they only last 6 months.

i wouldn't worry about it unless your case is directly sitting on carpet , and you never vacuum , and you don't know how to use canned air. otherwise you should be just fine.

but i've had a few different models of silent-x fans from 40mm-120mm that ran for a couple years and never gave me any fuss or quit working while i was using them.

Sounds good to me Terror. Dust is a major factor in my room, but like you said...canned air and vacuum can bust the dust :)

Have a bunch of SilenX..120mm, 90mm, 80mm...don't like 'em.. that don't push as much air as advertised at the motors can get noisy...
I use Sharkoon Silent Eagle (Golf Ball) series now... quiet and high air flow..

No noise from mine after several years of operation. They keep pumping...and relatively quietly as well.
