    Really?

They haven't for me and I'm using the latest 191.07 WHQL drivers. In-game supported AA works perfectly as does forcing AA in game via the game profiles, e.g. for UE3 games.

For some reason enabling triple buffering is having no effect in Wolfenstein MP (open gl). Had the same problem with the last whql drivers, last time I had triple buffering working in open gl was in back in win xp. Using Win 7 now.

Works fine in D3d games using d3d overrider, but the setting in NV control panel is having no effect on Wolf mp.

Graphics seem somwhat worse in Wolf too, but I may be wrong cant be arsed to go back and compare.

Not true in my case: 1) AA & AF quality is worse in all 190 series; 2) forcing AA in games like UE3 based doesnt work or works wierd; Ive tried recently to force AA in Mass effect and it didnt work, but then after couple of restarts (and only with enhancer help) it started to work (causing mass fps drop, but thats other story).

Other than that 190 series have two other major problems: 1)nview is not installing itself (win xp sp3) - it just unpack itself into temp folder and stays there (you can install it yourself from that temp folder) - its 191.xx issue if i remember correctly; 2) creating and applying custom resolutions is really PIAA now; sometimes your custom resolutions are showing correctly, sometimes not, sometimes you need to restart nv CP to see them, sometimes its just missing no matter what - :bang:

Oh, and Its second time this year I saw a blue screen when playing Crysis (dx9 on XP) - both when running 190 series drivers...

Not seeing any of those issues in XP, but have you updated the Audigy driver lately? Latest drivers aren't the best for those, theres a driver sweetspot between 2006-2007 for those cards.

    uninstall old driver

deactivating your network to disallow windows update automatic driver install

    take safe boot

use drivers weeper and clean from any nvidia waste

after normally boot install your favorite driver

    reboot

    after that reactivate your network

    have fun

ok...i have not had 1 freeze in bioshock with these drivers, with the 191.07 i had freezes almost every hour but i thought it was the game not the drivers. So far these are keepers for me.
