Should i buy and AGP or PCI-express card? because i saw this http://www.dc-shop.ro/prod-17393-Placa video SAPPHIRE SPHEHD4650R1024B128HDM ATI Radeon HD4650.htm (it's in romanian) and it really fits my budget (darn it). Is it worth it? to be honest, i would get a 48-- series card but the mofo money makes us the shame of the world!
Why would you want to spend money upgrading an AGP system? It looks like you already have a PCIE system by your specs.
Depends on whether your motherboard is AGP or PCI-e As your CPU is an X2 and you have DDR2 ram, I'm assuming you have an nF4 board - so you'll need to get a PCI-e card.
I second that! If the OP has a PCIe video already, why go backwards? PCIe is the current standard and is faster than AGP
Do you even have a AGP slot?, there were very few dual PCIe-AGP motherboards, I have one...the ASROCK Dual SATA and is getting pretty old, there is no way I would do AGP over the PCIe.
You can run both, I have done it, I removed the AGP and gave it to my nephew. I once ran PCI-AGP-PCIe, no real advantage to it for me I was playing around, the AGP and PCIe were ATI and the PCI was an Intel, it worked fine though.
