Cool technology especially for those who love to multitask now they can do work on one screen game on the second and watch a movie on the third..

I couldn't see myself gaming much on all 3 tho cuz it would be akward on the eyes having tv borders splitting the image:deadhorse:

 

unfortunately it seems that you NEED a third monitor with a Displayport connection in order to use Eyefinity. Displayport to DVI adapters arnt working i guess, which makes me angry...

 

can you plugged, let say, 2 monitor in the 1st 5870 and the 3rd (or 4th) in the second only with dvi ?:stewpid:

 

im not sure really. i guess we wont know until the eyefinity review comes out. I've already found some monitors though that have displayport in them ,a nd there decently priced.

Newegg is making me upset

I ordered my 5870 on thursday, today is saturday and it's still "processing". I've ordered my entire build from them and it's never taken this long to process before. Any ideas why?

 

klanguedoc My best guess? Out of stock.. Just my opinion.. But dont worry.. Have patience and when your build is ready and delivered,

Yea i agree, the credit card is already charged but newegg is still showing up as processed. Oh well, just as long as they send it out when they get it (which should be the 28) then i dont mind

I use a 20" display atm.

£200 to upgrade to a 24"
or
£200 to buy two more (used, coz samsung don't make the 2032BW anymore)

so for the same money roughly:- extra 4" or another 40" worth?
Sounds pretty straight forward when you put it that way.
