Patch 1.1 fixed the long loading issue, and imo, it is definitely a better(nothing really revolutionary, but better in general) game than Grid, especially the car dynamic and handling.
hi their mate i run under these settings Handling Experienced Steering Assist Off Braking Assist Off ABS On Traction Control high Stability Control on Damage Effects Full Auto Clutch On Gears auto please explain why u LOL'ED me
dude you should try and start using manual gears in any car game. for one you have much more control over the car and two it makes the game so much more imersive, just stick with it and it'll come to you. (not talking about shift here) im using my H shifter paired with my cluch pedal at the mo (G25). its solid to drive the bimmer in gtr-e but when you get it right you get such a buzz.
Yeah, i've tryed the game with Keyboard, and it is pretty easy, bit too easy, alot more forgiving, think its doing something similar to aim assist you get on FPS console games. I was also under the impression everyone used manual on this thread.
i just need some tips on how to keep the pedals from moving ( i thought of Glue but then thought against it lol) why dont they add some wieght to these pedals ffs, Hmmmm wieghts, i might see if i slap a dumbell on it if that works
You asked me in a post very nice mate what drving aids are used their? so I replied with @damien666 all the assist LOL so hence I wasnt lol at you I was lol at me cause I use all the assist I can,I suck at racing games but this game is fun.
for, me , after trying the overstter bug an other things it's impossible to drift with my Xbox360 gamepad racing it's ok, but drifting competitions are just a no go. any ideas ?
yes, i happened to notice this last night when i was racing in a series event. it's a bug in the game, and it just changes your settings for the transmission. to those having problems with oversteer: try setting the traction control(?) to high (you can leave the oversteer/understeer slider to wherever you want). it's night and day for me. I was really trying to play the game on low up to about 170 stars in the middle of tier 2. but the cars are just getting more and more sensitive and hard to control especially with the more powerful cars later in the game.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rgi0WzZRTeY wow check thsi guy out drifting is a pease of cake to him, and i think ive figured out why HE ALWAYS IN GEAR 2..... lol im gona use manual gears in drift now as auto aint working out
http://hardocp.com/article/2009/09/22/amds_ati_radeon_hd_5870_video_card_review/10 Performance test with Shift and a bunch of different graphics cards, also has a bit of info via AMD/ATI on the bad performance with certain cards.
shift's AI difficulty Does the AI in shift upgrade with you? Meaning: one of the need for speeds, I forgot which one, if you upgraded all the stats that affected acceleration, you had an easier time, but once you upgraded anything that had to do with engine, speed, turbo, the AI upgraded with you. So, my question is...if you upgrade some of my stats but not all like i leave one off Does the AI upgrade with me or not? Or do you actually have an advantage within your tier level / upgrades? ....i ask this as with a car and no upgrades i seem to have the same difficulty winning tier2 races as with a car maxed out with upgrades, thanks all EDIT@ on another note abotu AI, does running the AI difficultly on easy/med/hard effect the game at all apart from the slight if any AI hardness, i hence the slight part lol.. by this i mean the amount of cash/points ur awarded and also items unlocked thanks again peeps
My only real complaint so far is I have to disable crossfire on my 4850's for the game to run properly. If I leave crossfire enabled the screen for lack of better description appears to flicker. This is the only game I've come across like this. I guess it is an ATI/NFS graphics issue or a CF/NFS issue.
Almost under 7 mins Nurburgring with Zonda R on first attempt (7m5s) Car is probably the easiest car to control and consequently the fastest tier 4 car. The Veyron and Koenigsegg lose traction way too easily, even after putting max downforce etc. McLaren F1 I'm at 7m30s.. A works Murcielago is also really quick through corners and in acceleration and also very easy to control, but it's top speed sucks.. My works Elise also clocked a faster time round Spa than my F1 :3eyes:
Could someone with a nvidia card (GTX 260 and higher) post the content of file graphicsconfig.xlm? In particular the: <data class="GraphicConfigData" id="XXXXXXXX"> This can be found in \my documents\NFS Shift\graphicsconfig.xml
The game sucks... I'll give it away for £3 if anyone wants it... Basically to cover the postage... pm me if you're interested...
