For ATI you can force AA via the CCC with the 9.9 drivers, seems people have experienced problems and issues with them however.
(They work just fine for me but it's very individual with driver performance due to software and hardware differences and so on.)

EDIT: (Other than that the game uses the similar smoothing method as the majority of UE3 titles so max is 60 - 62 FPS, disabling it will just have the game re-enabling it, not to be confused with VSync.)

it's funny though, i notice no difference with physx on or off, heck even with physx off there're still particles and flying papers about (and the ones that you can knock about).

Very High, 1440x900, 4xAA, Vsync Off as usual

    MIN: 32
    MAX: 94
    AVG: 60

no idea if this is good or not but the game runs butter smooth for me.

i have absolutely no problem with AA.

also i'm not sure about the MAX thing but mine for some reason gives 94fps.

Yeah, don't know why anyone would have Vsync on for a benchmark, so kinda goes without saying that its off.

Only the benchmark goes that high, ingame doesn't go above 62fps.

Think they sorted the ATI AA thing by the time full game was released, well doesn't say Nvidia hardware anymore anyway.

yee that's my native res 19" monitor and the benefit is the lower res which isn't stressful and allows me to turn on every option in almost every game out there without worrying about framerates with power to spare, but then again a game without AA support would look like crap. lol

my new 24" Dell monitor should be here by next week, big and with a very nice native res (1920 x 1200), HD movie goodness too. :p

yes true, game won't go above 62fps even with vsync off, no big deal anyway performance is perfect. :p

Same here mate, mines 1280 x 1024 which is only slighty higher than yours but if the game dont have AA it dont look great. im going 22" next i think.

Decided to run card on stock setting despite the unstable 191.00 low performance 3D random jack-in. Appearing the cause is the Rivatuner... And after long session gaming it force to run low performance 3D and the only way to resolve is restart the Windows itself.

    1. Windows Vista(SP2)
    2. 191.00
    3. Physics on(HIGH)
    4. Very High, 1920x1080, 4xAA, Vsync On
    5. Not modded

this game has only up to 62 fps "default" but you see instructions - max from 62 to eg: 400 fps:
    1- go x:\Documents and Settings\name-user\My documents\Eidos\Batman Arkham Asylum\BmGame\Config in XP or x:\Users\name-user\Documents\Eidos\Batman Arkham Asylum\BmGame\Config in Vista
    2- open BmEngine.ini and edit:
    Code:
    MaxSmoothedFrameRate=62.000000
        to
    MaxSmoothedFrameRate=400.000000

    ;)

Ran benchmark with forced 4x anti aliasing 16x anistrophic 1280x720 32" monitor using 9.9 driver.. I was surprised there were no action scenes in the benchmark it makes me wonder how accurate it may be.

    FPS
    Min 54
    Maximum 61
    Average 59

LIVE so patches are only released via the LIVE interface when you are signed in, other download links are mainly ripped versions of said patch once it has downloaded.

How do I set my second GT200 core to act a dedicated PhysX core instead of running it SLI? I benchmarked and I only got 50fps average at 1680x1050 vsync enabled, no AA, all details set to max and physX at high.

Its accurate, PhysX is the hardest thing to run in the game, i get lowish frames in the benchmark, but when using the challenge maps and DLC ones, even with 10 or so guys attacking, i still get framerates in the high 50's.

    Should be in the NVCP.

That can't be right, i got 24/60/43 with my 192SP GTX260, a 295 should be at least in the 30's for minimum.
