the painted artwork intro was sweet. I luve that kind of stuff. At first I was a little disappointed on the graphics because I thought they were going to use a new updated engine or something. Dont get me wrong, I loved the first game to death, just wish the expansions were longer than the first game. I believe GW has the best battle system out there. Its so much more fun having just 8 skills instead of 50. It requires much more planning instead of mindlessly clicking a whole screen full of skills. It reminds me very much of poker. I think by the time this game comes out, I will already be hooked on Aion. But I will pick this game up also. Yes, next year should be a great year for leveling up and questing.

Art looks great, and developers seem to be huge H.P Lovecraft fans , the whole slumbering beneath the sea, and a city rising from water, too bad they left Chutlulu out.
Guild Wars is full of references (even pop culture references). Concerning Orr, this ancient city,it is firt mentioned in guild wars prophecies: you fight their " ancient guardians" -the mursaat for those who played prophecies-, and there are lots of lore references about Orr (dialogs, stories etc wich locate it the sea, west of the desert cristal...for those who remember the world map^^). In nightfall end game you get to see some structures of this city, and in eye of the north a part of a dungeon is a direct reference to it. Briefly: for every guild wars fan out there, finally seeing this city "for real" in guild wars 2 is a dream come true

Gotta admit the graphics are not what I expected, but I'm sure they can make up for it with great design Norn city looks breathtaking Now I wanna know what my Hall of Monuments will get me. And I hope they take out those damn titles, I was never bothered to do them, I would always end up running around in LA or something. xD
lest some of the titles got you stuff, like bolstering title track skills some of which were highly useful.
To those disappointed with the graphics, while I personally don't expect things to get too much better, they are still in the alpha stage so things should polish up quite a bit more yet.
tbh free to play persistent world that looks like that sounds epic win and i read more about the faqs it sounded even more goodness... few games im waiting now are this, diablo 3, forza 3, gt 5 and AC2
