hi all.. can a setup of barton 2500, ati 9600pro, and 1gb ddr400 still manage to play them? or maybe just re4 at least? if so, will i experience heavy lagging? ta. oh and what sort of an upgrade would you recommend just so i could play these games? doesn't have to be a monster upgrade.. or does it??
res4 should be fine. For res5 if you drop res and some fx, you might get away with it. Try the time demo if you can get it to work.
i seriously doubt res5 will work very well at all on that pc, maybe not even at all. right now the benchmark for me with my curent setup lowering the graphics quite a bit gives me an overal score of about 70 fps, but thats if everything is lowered to practically lowest except resolution. as far as im aware the game is heavy on the graphics card, and thats where you're gonna suffer drastically. res4 might be ok but not too sure on that one, should check its recommended specs or minimum specs. and yeah if you do wish to play res5 you will need to do a complete overhaul of the pc, and upgrade everything.
