Hey guys, Just got a quick Q. I use onboard sound, and have always been wondering, is there any point in updating Realtek drivers? I mean like video drivers, can improve IQ, FPS of games etc. so what about Realtek sound drivers? Cheers.
Though there may not be a significant increase in performance when updating audio driver but compatibility with certain games is surely enhanced.
He means that any incompatibility or issues with games or applications may be fixed with newer drivers.
