Screw it, gonna post :) Not gonna get to play much this week, maybe try for 4Ghz on CPU over next weekend.

Oh and im def interested in OC'ing my 275 more, want to get better cooling for it 1st and look into some sort of volt mod.

This is an area i dont really know much about. How do i up the volts to get better clocks? BIOS Flash? Don't think i can do Hard Mod bit to extreme for me lol

I have the asus 275 and its a lot cheaper than some of the BFG's etc so not sure what they've skimped on that might result in less than impressive clocks.

Hmm my Q6700 gives me angry face when clocks start to get out of control with crappy cooling lol

Been on vacation :) my pcie clock is locked, as I am running a adaptec 5805 off my bottom slot, with 4 ocz vertex ssds in a raid 0, Had a wr in pcmark 05 but now I am down to 4th I think. Anything on the pice over 100mhz gives me a loack on the bios of the card... With my prior i7 builds, ht made my clock go down and 06 benches go down by 1k. Gona try a run @ 24/7, 4.5 ht on and see how it looks vs ht off and 4.6. Great job all!
    Dave
PS got a PII BE inbound and that new asus crossfire... gona move some cards around next week and try a 3870x2, 4870, 4870x2 and then 2 4870x2 lol

congrats you're a crazy dude, tthats how we like it ,excellent score dave , and a cracking overclock on the xeon with ht on , even on a single stage not many have got much higher than that cpu clock with ht on so on water thats really impressive i hope the xeon i am getting clocks up as nice, very nice indeed, did you monitor temps when running 06 bet that xeon was sssmmmookkkkiiiinnnn!, what watercooling componenents are you using dave to keep that xeon under wraps, you've a top of the line system there dave and you even have ssd's in raid 0 as well (i'm jealous) , only joking m8, very nice

I need to work on my drivers some. I believe this was 21x220 4620MHz, score seems low for the MHz I was using. Maybe try a lower vcore too.

hiya drouge nice going ,another 32 k plus score ,score seems about right to me for mhz , chief dave has got similar, and running slightly tighter ram timings, its amazing the heat these i7 give off when clocked up and some volts added, over 20 degrees with single stage, HOT HOT

What can I say, I have a crappy chip. Damn bclk limited IMC's. Looks like this is the best I can do. 21x221 is all this chip has in it. I will work on it a little more, as time permit's.

Thats awsome results at that settings, i bet you hit 21K easy when running that Quad at 4+ GHZ. I always wonder what happens when i slap a Quad in my rig:)

its still a massive score drouge but i know what you mean on ss you'd bet on getting close to 5ghz,

yes cowie i can't wait to start abusing the new hardware, hopefully will have the cpu and motherboard today (monday) then i can play

yes chispy it'll be nice to have the quad core cpu score on 06 for once you can't play 06 the same with a dualie

You are exactly right Glen, I expect more than 5GHz. But intel, trying to squeeze Nvidia out of their memory controller market so to speak, sure put's a squeeze on us. Good chips with crappy memory controllers. My QX9650 would do 5GHz.
