What's the Best Game within the Last 5 Years?

Half Life 2. The first game that made my jaw drop. Only game I have played more than twice.

 

I didn't either, but I liked it, unlike a lot of folks...

 

Red Orchestra!! I've been playing this game on and off for years; it is simply my favourite online game.

Best offline game has to be Fallout 3 though.

 

I have realized over time that the only people complaining about FC2 are the same people that only played a mission or two and then called it quits. This is a game that gets better and better the more that you play it and it grows on you quite well.

I like its open endeness, I like the fact that I can scout out a guard post and plan my attacks accordingly. I just think this game is a bit too much for simple minded folks that are use to having a game to hold their hand for them.

Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing FTW

 

The Elder Scrolls Oblivion, period.

 

Unreal Tournament 3, Crysis, COD4, F.E.A.R., were all great games. It's hard to choose a favorite. I've easily put the most time into Titan Quest, though.

 

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

 

Either one would be a great choice. I'd go with Oblivion also. It has great replay value and it's the only game in quite some time that I have put 400+ hours into. If we are talking consoles as well then I'd throw Halo 3 into the mix.
