Hey i was lookin into the i7 920 and was just wonderin what the differance is between the DO model and CO. From what i can get, the DO OCs better. And it you do want to chance it you shld just get a W3520?...

The D0 is a revision of the 920 that generally clocks better with lower voltages.

A 3520 is the best choice in terms of clocking vs voltage but they are quite rare at the mo and I am not sure of the price difference over the D0.

The W3520 is only available in D0 stepping anyway...

    It's actually D-ZERO and C-ZERO, not O as in "Oh!" :)

oh my bad then haha Also i was wonderin. I was lookin into the Xeon W3520 as it is the same proc but higher quality and OCs just as good if not better. It is more expensive(about $100 USD more) but i was wondering if i wld still fit on any Core i7 supported mobo. Ive seen mobos that say the they support Xeons and so that just say Core i7. But its the same socket..so it shld wrk right?

Any X58 will run that Xeon. It's not higher quality, it's just a D0 stepping...
