    Ugh,
I'm suffering from the bug that causes extreme delay during Windows Vista shutdown :(

    Reverted to 2.18.8 ...

I'm wondering if they will release this for their Titanium Series, or a similar driver as a different version number.

Will this driver also be available for the X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Pro sound cards? Is there any way to make this work? (like a modded inf)

Don't worry guys and gals I make sure I have Audio console Launcher in the set :) Do you want me added audio console too? Only sad part new version of audio console won't work with win 7 but other one does from my XFI Spring 2009 suite. Do you want me grab the older working audioconole from my software suite? For Win 7? So far drivers are done just want wait on input for audio console on win 7.

Don't worry new version comming soon so far very great feedback from couple testers. I grab the audio console from software suite since that only one works with windows 7

Where exactly is the mic boost button? In Creative drivers or Windows? I see that when I am in certain applications? I don't ever remember seeing that.

In Vista / Control Panel / Sound / Recording tab / Properties Microphone I see it there. This is with PAX drivers.

I don't remember seeing it elsewhere.

that mike boost was here in this latest driver and some older ones too, so its not something new.

Im still @ daniel K. 2.0 suite, best set ever!!

sound is so crisp and clear, not to mention cracks and pops less :D (heard a few in Fear Combat - background sounds, with older drivers if i used eax4)..

This driver was total Hell. Uninstalled any trace of older drivers a long with all Creative Software. I only use just the Creative SB driver without all their add on stuff. Installed the new driver and first thing was the SB Control Panel would lock up the computer if you tried to toggle between Game Mode or Entertainment Mode. Lastly as many have experienced Vista which normally took less than 10 seconds to Shutdown now took up to 5 minutes.

The only way I could go back to the previous driver was to unpack the driver files via WinRAR and use the Setup.exe located in the SBXF Folder. That way it allowed you to uninstall all Creative files and Shared Folders.

You should try Rob McClellands drivers for the X-Fi chipsets instead of using Creative. They should generally workout better, plus he found the workaround for the Vista long shutdown procedure.
