    Hi, I have 2 questions:

Is possible do a SLI with a 8600 card and 9500 flashing the bios? (or another way)

Is possible do a SLI with 512Mb and 256Mb cards?

Sorry for my english and thanks.

Anyone have any Idea as to why in order to run 3Dmark Vantage all the way through I have to disable physx. If I dont It crashs on the last test:( 182.50 Drivers. Clean install vista ultimate x64.

If I want to buy another 260 GTX, that means I could buy anything from EVGA to whatever, just have to stay 260 gtx?

Hi people,i really want to overclock my 9800 gt,but im not sure how hot cards get when overclocking. I do notice the card fan speed goes up by itself to 65% when i play fallout 3 on ultra high and the temp stays about 60-64c. When im not gaming its idles down to 40% and temp are 70-74c. I have four 120mm fans,2 blowing air in and 2 blowing air out(not including the psu). Dont know why my card is not cooler, 70c seems high when im not gaming. I also dont have any heat spreaders for my memory. Will i be ok for overclocking?

    With the same cards?

Try updating them to the latest BIOS.

Shouldn't, but you just never know. I'd get the latest BIOS you can find for your cards and flash both cards with it.

In case you've never done this before though, be careful and read a bit about it in advance. Especially what you can do in case a card is not responding/working after a flash.

    Good luck. :)

New to the forum. I ran 3dmark06 in SLI, then with it disabled. Enabled scored 13349. Disabled scored 11564. All for my info.

see how i also have gts 512's in sli then i will comment. six months ago i would have said go for it, now i would say go for a 250 or 260. with that q6600 i wouldnt go any more than those two.
you should be able to find one cheaper than that if you went with another 8800. dont expect a huge performance increase. 20 to maybe 30% seems about average for my rig when i am playing a game that is sli compatible.

Your Corsair HX620W offers 50A on the +12V rails, PowerGI:
One 8800GTS 512 MB requires 26A and Nvidia recommends to get the TX750W for a system with two 8800GTS 512MB cards: http://www.slizone.com/object/slizone_build_psu.html

p.s.: Why did you erase your post? Did you already figure it out yourself?
