Installed 185.85 the other day, every app I launched (Far Cry 2, Crysis, etc.) was unstable. Every driver since 180 has been rock solid for me; rolled back to 182.50, problems solved. Hope this doesn't persist.

^ Just the opposite for me. Every game I've tried so far incl the 2 mentioned above have been rock solid with great IQ to boot. 182.50 were good for me, but so are these.

Second that. Reinstalled my system a couple of weeks ago and made a mistake, installed the 182.50WHQL. I thought ohh damn I leave that for now. Today I got the urge to installe the latest WHQL. WoW started the good old idiod issue: When you move the screen moves like "stuttering". Still it says I got 40fps but the screen (LOLLING SERIOURSLY) Stutters!

Now I'm trying some betas if none of them are working then I go back to the good old 182.50.

    185.85 SUCKS BIG TIME!

Here is what i have notice using these drivers, these drivers really give a big performance boost in gaming, however they seem to be unstable a bit with a few games and for some odd reason the right side of my desktop is cut off slightly.

But i will continue to using them, but for the games which i can't play due to it being unstable, i won't worry. Good thing its only crysis and this game called el matador, but no worries, because crysis runs like a POS on my 8400gs anyway and el matador ran better on xp.

    So i rate the 185.85 = 7/10

Seems my video driver shutdowns were related to running utorrent. I was downloading build 1727 all day. Ironically my video drivers wanted to shutdown all the time even sitting idle just with utorrent. I did however have a popup saying my sound drivers were installed correctly. LOL. Overall I suffered about 6 shutdowns errors. After shutting down utorrent, I then jumped into a game of FEAR 2 and TF2 and no issues in either game or the rest of the night. I didn't even reboot except for once during my download.

I upgraded to 1727 and I continue to be stable. No new driver installations. I have run a bunch of games with no issue. I've also not been using utorrent.

Ok i have 2 8800gt in sli mode on asrock 780G M\B with amd 9950 cpu , i was running 182.8 and it was good driver.
But I was tempted as i often am to try this latest driver so i did 185.85 and it was no picnic ill tell you. My Digital Vibrance wouldnt stay on i couldnt get into my Nvidia tools woth esa support, or my display pannel period, i uninstalled and reinstalled all these drivers 2 x.
colors washed out , couldnt get to disable\Re-install SLI & PhysX options so older games like Arma ( thats a whole nother issue but its with codemasters so nevermind!)
This Driver may be fine for some but with windows XP pro -32 bit and 2 8800 GT in sli mode , you can keep this driver.
I did system restore and tahnkfully everything is fine, again.
Ive been comming here since my first Riva TNT card, and i find the info regarding what a driver is goona do and what it will F%#K -up less intuitive now than i did then, but Granted these drivers are geared for latest GPU drivers. Fine , I have a last gen system no problem I have always enjoyed picking the pearls up after the last wave of techno whatever passes by and saving a few bucks.
I will always come here for my info and answers and truthfully i have never been let down by the knowledge base we have all created in this venue.
so heres my 2 cents about these drivers. If you have 8800 Gt in sli mode dont use these drivers they are oh-so finnicky.
