standing on 1.44625 stable, now reading this article I uunderstand how lucky I was- or maybe it's because I was aiming for this result (or because of my antec 900 TRUE 120 combination)
I also OC my videocard but I don't do it 24/7 only when I play (to something like 790/1100) but recently it started showing artifacts...

These are my 24/7 stable clocks for now. Getting 8gb with a high fsb stable on this board is not fun so I settled for these clocks for now. Keep in mind vdroop is huge I'm at like 1.28 vcc under load. I could go for more but it's not really nesessary right now and my voltages are nice and low.

She will run 3.834G but I perfer the lower volts/temps at 3.7G for 24/7 use.

I don't understand why we are posting CPUZ validations when stable 24/7 clocks is the subject of discussion. I believe posting SS of successful 10 pass IBT or 8+ hours of Prime or orthos would be much better. An inclusion of Memset and Everest memory bench in the SS would be nice.

Perhaps it's because we have more respect for the users of this forum than you guys seem too. Your nasty responses about providing proof are totally unnecessary and I am sure that they have something to do with the fact that there are 151,000 members of this forum yet 99% of them never post anything. I personally don't take screenshots every time I test my system and I'm sure most people don't. If I was running my Q6600 at 4Ghz then yes I would include a screenshot. 3.2 really isn't that high. Posting an Everest benchmark, which I have done, is more than sufficient proof. Despite what I constantly read in the forums 99% of Q6600's can hit 3.2. Some have to do 9x356 and others 8x400 but the people who say they can't get stable at 3.2 most likely don't know what they are doing. That's why they come here. So they can get help. Then they make there first couple of posts and get berated by you guys for not following your rules.

I go to quite a few forums but Guru3D is the only one I post in "regularly". It's also the one where I see the most elitist, I'm better than you, responses to people's posts. People come here for help from those of us who know what we are doing. So get off your high horse and help them.

Whoa, SickBoy254698, I am sorry my post rubbed you or anyone else the wrong way, that definitely was not my intention.

I have every bit of respect for other members as you say that you do. That's why I posted above in the OP's defense. I was only suggesting a good halfway point between the OP's original requirements and where the thread is now: a complete hijack.

I can't think of anything more rude and disrespectful than thread hijacks on online forums. Flame if you feel the need but after that go away.

I don't know where that came from, the title of the thread is 24/7 overclock.

My Q6600 runs 3.6GHz Prime-stable 12h and real-world stable since God knows when. Anything above 3.6 causes Prime95 errors but the machine is real-world stable up to 3.8Ghz (runs all games + apps without errors). I like to keep it safe though, so 3.6. it is.
