well, about opening the contest to forum members only. u should know that there are a lot of long time reader but do not happen to registered users such as myself. so limiting the contest to forum members alone wouldnt be fair IMHO.

to the admins/mods, can we have a notification post in this thread as to when the contest is closed? (this is bcoz a lot of us are in different time zones)

April the 24th 2009 is the same in every time zone! I mean there is one and you have to have your entry in before the 24th lol

regarding the time zone issue. for example, if i am in japan now it could be saturday morning while in the US i could still be friday. so i just wanna know if the closing date is the US time zone.

I guess they should have been more specific. Even if it meant by the end of the 24th. What timezone is considered... is it UTC or PDT or....

I have always been confused when a product's expiry date is expressed as this: 4/2009. Does this mean it will expire at the beginning of the month or at the end at it. On the other hand, I have seen food processors being so darn specific that they print the exact time (in hours and minutes, mind you) of expiration on the package.

 

if it says 4/2009 it means do what ever you want with it,and you probaly forgot you have this product because most of the time it says something like that when you still got a few years

 

LOL, 4/2009 was just an example. The template should be "month/year"
